Zimbabwe removed from mandatory quarantine list
A total of 23 countries including Zimbabwe, are exempt from the mandatory quarantine list for Ireland. Zimbabwe was removed from the list on the 27th of August 2021, with immediate effect. Countries exempt also include South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, with a full list of the 23 countries which can be read here.
Although Zimbabwe has been removed from the mandatory quarantine list, should one show symptoms of Covid-19 upon arrival; a PCR Test is required and mandatory quarantining at own costs upon a positive PCR Test result. PCR Tests costs range from USD 60 to USD 75, all depending on the service provider.

Zimbabwe Requirements upon Entry
- A negative Covid-19 test issued no more than 48 hours before departure valid as long as you are in transit without departing airports.
- A travel history document required to be filled in and submitted to immigration
- Mandatory temperature readings upon arrival
